Liz was born in Hawaii, and moved to San Antonio when she was 7 years old. Growing up she played soccer and volleyball, both on the club and high school level. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University. She then earned her Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from San Antonio College. She started her weightlifting journey in CrossFit in 2011. She made the transition to weightlifting in 2012 after roughly six months of doing both CrossFit and weightlifting. She has been an active competitor in the sport of weightlifting ever since, taking part in numerous competitions throughout Texas. Even earning a second place medal at the state championships in 2015. She is excited to share her passion for the sport of weightlifting with athletes of all levels at Alamo City.
