In Ten Years….

What are you waiting for? You’ve been wanting to do that thing for years now. Whether it is to lose 10 pounds of fat, go back to school, look for another job….. Why do you need to wait until you turn 30.. 35… 40… 50, when the kids get out of school, when the kids go back to school, when you lose the extra weight, when you put more muscle on, when you have more time? Do it now. You may not be able to set things up as perfectly as you’d like but you sure can do SOMETHING now.

Do you think you don’t have time? Take an inventory of how you are spending your day. Then, like we do when we have to tighten up our financial budget, cut out unnecessary expenditures. Easy places to start looking for our “extra” time are social media, watching TV and hitting the snooze button over and over and over again.

Are you unimpressed with your lack of results lately? What can you do to change that? What about setting a workout schedule and attending class no matter what the workout is and how much you like/dislike or how well you can/cannot do the movements. Or, working off of your actual percentages rather than going by feel to avoid all the time spent on calculations.

How about nutrition? Can you dial back on sugar and fast food and increase the quantity of whole foods (lean proteins, veggies, fruits and healthy fats)? We don’t need a personal chef and a live-in trainer (although I agree that would be nice). Simply, identify one small change you can make, and TAKE ACTION.

Finally, answer these two questions:

If I make these changes, where do I see myself in ten years?

If I don’t make these changes, where do I see myself in ten years?
